The Lamp Lighting Ceremony was solemnly conducted at United College of Nursing   to mark the initiation of first-year nursing students into the noble profession of nursing. The event symbolized the dedication, compassion, and commitment that every nurse pledges to uphold while serving humanity.

The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Mrs.Leema.J, Tutor followed by an invocation song. The traditional lighting of the lamp was performed by the Chief Guest Mrs.Jayabharathi, Vice Principal, PPG College of Nursing, along with faculty members.

The students took the Florence Nightingale Pledge, signifying their commitment to the nursing profession and ethical practice. The Chief Guest and Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of empathy, discipline, and professionalism in nursing.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs.Aarthi, Assistant Professor expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, staff, and students for their active participation.
