SEMINAR ON DIGITAL HEALTH CARE TECHNOLOGY

A seminar on “Digital Health Care Technology” was successfully conducted at United College of Nursing with the objective of enhancing students’ knowledge about the role of digital innovations in modern health care. The seminar aimed to create awareness about emerging technologies and their applications in nursing practice.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address, followed by an inaugural session. The resource person delivered an informative lecture on various aspects of digital health care technology, including electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine, mobile health applications, artificial intelligence in health care, wearable health devices, and health information systems. The session highlighted how digital technology improves patient care, safety, efficiency, and accessibility of health services.

The seminar was interactive and engaging, with students actively participating in discussions and clarifying their doubts. Real-time examples and practical insights helped the participants understand the importance of adapting to digital transformation in the health sector. Emphasis was also given to the role of nurses in effectively utilizing digital tools for patient care and documentation.
